Just saw this, realy good till the end which realy let it down.

spoilers in white:
I mean, aliens??? Was that realy necesary? Aliens are used in films way too much I mean why couldnt they come up with something like the last numbers were the co-ordinates to the presidents getaway or omething or NASA built a special spaceship?

That alone they didn't explain why the aliens were helping us which bugged me. Then the last scene which realy ruined the film. The two kids being released on the new planet....fair enough but then them running to the big tree (the tree of life) was suggesting they were to be Adam & Eve....so what about all the other children the aliens saved? Why were they put miles apart? And the rabbits......why?


But yeah it was real;y good up untill the last half hour for me, I loved the plane crash scene. Realy good plot too....shame.

Anyone else seen it?
 
I'm still trying to figure it out. Crash scene blew me away though.
 
Aye, know what you mean pal. The ending was strange and up until then it was amazing. They should of done something different.
 
Well it was a good film, not great bar the actual disaster parts! Plane sequence was fantastic i must say, especially coupled with the fact that my mate i was with was travelling a couple of days after and he's not the best of flyers so it shit him up... i'm nice like that!

But then like you've mentioned the ending just totally ruined it, originally i thought the 'Aliens' could have been the four horsemen of the apocalypse... now that would of been better! But no, just some angel like aliens is all we get! Was topped off when they took the kids up to the spaceship and a trail from there bodies shaped into angel like wings!! :boring::rolleyes:

The movie looked like shit and if it has nicholas cage in it you know its going to suck

Oh and for anyone that did want to see the movie you did a good job in ruining the ending. Next time you might might to write stuff like that in white or put "spoiler alert" in the title

well in the first sentence its pretty clear im about to talk about the ending but yeah i see your point, i shall white it out now
