I cant believe some of the fans! First its giggs getting dissed left right & center. Now all of a sudden our 30million acquisition, Rio Ferdinand, after a string of unlucky injuries should be sold? Taken out of the team?
How can he be so crap? Don't people think that we are toooo critical of our players? We expect our players to be robo-players. We expect our defenders to be be solid and mistake free. One mistake and they should be dropped.
We expect our midfielders to be picking out excquisite passes for the full 90 mins - otherwise they're no good and a waste of money.
And the strikers should bury every 1/2 chance they have.
Im not saynig all fans our like this - but when people give players a scything after 1 slip - it really pisses me off...

Who cares who made the mistake? Supporting the team means accepting the players are human and make mistakes.

Whatever anyone thinks, the guy has a lot to learn. He is still young - he's someone who, despite playing in the England team for quite some time now, will not reach his peak for a good 5 years or so.

I agree. And I think he'll develop into a better player if we support his good rather than criticize his mistakes.
This also helps build rapport between players and the fans. I like it when ex United players talk about how they love the club and the fans.
