We agreed a price with Ajax in the Summer of 1998. The deal was done and official.

Kluivert refused to speak to Utd.

Actually it was Milan not Ajax... Then he said Arsenal were the only club for him at England, then he signed a new deal with Milan - and 2 weeks later he was off to Barcelona.
 
What about Hasselbaink and Van Nistelrooy???

Totally agreed ... Option 2 is not one that I fancy frankly speaking .. Raoul say it so so rite ... too similar in their play ... what's the point !?

Owen - RVN!! Now that's the best partnership in the world! - But since Liverpool would never sell Owen...forget about it then.

Ronaldo - RVN Possible...Inter might sell him if the price is right. No more than £20m i'd think.

Emile Mpenza (Belgium & Schalke 04striker) - RVN Mpenza has got pace and good finishing. Ideal!

I don't think that is right. I remember it as Ajax and instead of Utd he went to Milan.

We'd been after him, when he was at Ajax, for a while.
