All I was trying to point out with my comment was that if they had done the same stunt say 40-50 years ago, but instead of swapping the nice white guys with two apes they had swapped them with to African men, you probably would have got the same reaction from the little white girls and probably the same canned laughter from the audience.
What is seen to be sick or not is largely based upon social, political, moral, and in this case probably hygienic grounds (yes, kissing a black man would possibly have been viewed as unhygienic 50 years ago to the average white, or at least dirty).
The thing is, blacks, whites, etc. are not races, but rather breeds, the word has been corrupted in recent times. A labrador and a bulldog are not different races of dogs, but different breeds. The true meaning of the word race is a species. If Neanderthals still existed, we would be able to breed with them, they would be of a different species, but of the same genus. Would it be sick to breed with a Neanderthal? Many think that this actually happened, and many think that the Chimp at least should be classified in our genus. Is it that different shagging a chimp to shagging a Neanderthal? Well, yes, because you cannot procreate, so we are not of the same genus.
