Seems Larry is pondering staying yet another year.

“I like to live for now. I won’t talk about the future because my mind is set on winning something. I have always been concentrated on the present. You might intend to do something in six months but anything can happen. You might change your mind just like I did last year!

“I stayed on firstly because I was asked and also because Manchester United are amongst the best clubs in the world.

“It is not exactly a hardship to go through another year at Old Trafford! It is a great attraction so it is a pleasure not something you dread.

“I was thinking that by now I would have been smoking a fag and going fishing but here I am still playing big games in the Champions League with Manchester United! So you can never say something will happen for definite.

“If it is possible I would like to play a little less. We all want to play in every game really and even at 37 I want to play in every game.

If he carries on playing the way he is now he can stay till he's 60 for all I care.

he's good in the CL where the game is slower and he gets more time to get in position but his lack of pace has been exposed in the Premiership a few times.

I wouldn't be totally averse to him staying another year but i want to see the partnership between John and Rio develop

when exactly?
people keep quoting his lack of pace but numer 1 he was never quick and number 2 i cant recall us conceding a goal because Larrys been beaten in a race to the ball.

tho i admit id prefer to see Rio/John O take over next season as the long term solution.

Yea, he keeps playing that Van Nistelrooy guy, weird.

i think him sticking around another year is good all the way around. Oshea and Rio need his mentorship. It can only help as we strive to become the team of legend whoops we ALREADY ARE <img src="graemlins/devil.gif" border="0" alt="[Devil]" />

maybe him staying will attract French players like Mexes and Cisse. ;)

Doubt it with Mexes, I don't think we're in for him anymore. SAF stopped sending him Christmas cards. ;)

Actually Mexes is said to be a fan of Blanc or something, and those cards ARE in the mail... ;)

With Royal Mail, I can believe that.
