There needs to be a bit of a crackdown in there, absolute muppetry. Couldn't be asked with it today, its a completely different animal than it was a couple of years ago.

I have infracted someone for posting joke score updates and blocked them from the forum. If I have time to go through the thread I may add to that score. If people report the worst posts it makes the job easier.

Sorry to say but I rarely go in there as I am fortunate enough to be able to watch most games live, I can appreciate that for those who rely on their computers for up to date results such feckwittery is a real pain though. I'm not likely to go trawling back through 16 pages plus of a match day thread after the fact though so the idiots do largely get away with it unless you can point out their offences.
Best bet for all concerned is to use the report post function anyone cocking about in there. Posting GOAL!!!!! when there wasn't one and the likes are definite cause for a permenant exclusion from the matchday forum. Excessive negativity is a harder one to call but we can dish out infractions when they go OTT and repeated offenders will then earn short holidays from the forum and stand out more when we consider them for permenant bans.

I have given 2 more posters infractions for various idiocy and excluded them from the forum. I am tending towards permanent exclusion for both of them.
One of them is now banned permanently because it is a return of the poster known as Richardson. I also banned his other current id.
Was Il Tulipo and Richardson/diarra the same poster?

good thing the match was live on the telly last night, because most of the time i rely on the internet/streams and look at the matchday thread for updates as my stream is around 3 minutes behind

i had to give up on the matchay thread yesterday and started looking at the bbc updates it was so bad. feckers posting fake goals and what not.
Its going to get cleaned up.
