Hold the phone and your horses, I'm not saying that Giggs needs to be replaced or anything like that, but:

If United indeed is going to buy a left midfielder this summer, who do you want it to be, Kewell or Duff?

I'd say Kewell, he scores more goals, can play up front and would probably cost less as Leeds is going down..... :p

I have a feeling which ever one we sign the other will join the bindippers

Duff. :D

Little betweeen them talent wise.

On attitude Duff is better; Kewell's a bit stroppy. Duff is less of a personality to fit in, and a gutsy type that United like, he would blend in easily and it is a team game after all.

Kewell is more physical, Duff gets held back a little by injuries(1651 mins v 2182 for the season).

Kewell would miss some days like Seba on internatinal duty, Duff wouldn't.

If Kewell could settle into the team and accept his role whatever that might be, then I'd take him; he's a little younger and more durable than Duff.
But Duff would be great too, and more likely to accept the role of challenging Giggs for his position, Duff always gives everthing

Probably, but they'll have to dip into a lot of bins to find money for Duff/Kewell and Cisse.

Let's not forget that the best left midfielder in the premiership is Pires.

Duff hasn't done much since the world cup where as Kewell has been scoring left right and center.

Last summer I would have said Duff, but now I would rather have Kewell

Kewell.

Don't want another player suffering from hamstring injuries all the time.

How old r they?
I'll really have to view my opinion after I c the answer of my question.... :p

The Travel Agent who was organising our trip+tix from calgary to Vancouver/Seattle sold all her allocation the very first day. Worse is I am the fecker who tipped the tart about the game. I am still open for the LA game, but I would lov it, just lov it to go to the Seattle one.

Seconded...

and Duff is more determined and works harder according to Champ Man.

maybe I should stop playing Champ Man and go to bed, well it is 5.53am

I think Kewell would be a good buy for around 18M!

ANd Quaresmo for around 12M!

Then we'll have to sell Giigz for around 18-20m..

I don't expect 12 or 20 millions will be flying around this summer so easily.

he's scored 3 in his last 3 matches and has had a few injuries this year.

I could see Kewell having a strop and insisting he plays in a certain position or he's off to Real Madrid, and I could see Duff turning into a true red...so for me it's the Duffer.

kewell and duff can do one. queresma would be cheaper than both then we can buy kewell and duff to shine his boots ;)

I'll prob have to go with Kewell, because he is much more experienced, proved himself in the Premiership and can play-up front too...
IMO Duff is too immature and injury-prone...

So, Kewell for me...

He hasn't done that at Leeds (where he would have more bargaining power). He's been happy to play as the link-man and as a full blown striker as well as on the left, and has performed well everywhere.

Kewell gets my vote. As a left mid I rate them both about the same, but Kewell has the advantage of playing well as the extra striker so would give us a bit more versatility. I'm also a bit worried about Duff injury-wise.
