Kewell on his way to OT?

According to Owen Slot in his match report in The Times for Saturday's stroll with the dippers he is....

"Keane's combative presence may yet be complemented by the mercurial skills of Harry Kewell, if reports last night suggesting that Leeds United's Australian international has signed a deal worth £6 million are true. Kewell is reported to be joining up at Old Trafford in the summer"

Cool! :D

This is also on the BBC site

I don't mind goodlooking foreigners. ;)

And he's probably got English blood somewhere in him anyway.

Don't be daft Giggzy.

The only place Yanks have English blood is on their hands.

do you think Kewell can perform the role better than Scholes if playing behind Ruud

Possibly. Be nice to find out.

I've heard that one before.

Would be a great signing...and @ £6m even better!
Lets rob the sheep of another of their great players!!!

His dads English from memory.

I think he would be awesome in the hole behind Ruud, he is the next Cantona.

It would be fantastic to see Kewell at Old Trafford especially as a couple of my drinking mates are die hard Leeds fans.
We might as well continue with the growing tradition.
Jordan
McQueen
Cantona
Rio
Kewell??

Dennis Irwin also started his career at Leeds if i remember rightly.

That would be nice...Plus Leeds have denied it so we'll probably get him for much less than 6m.

What'll happen is we'll bid 6 - Leeds will hold out for 10 - we'll pullout and then Leeds will offer him to us for 4.5, we'll offer them 3.5 and this time they'll take it. They have the habit of negotiating when it isn't in their power(like Fowler's case) and hence getting much less.

I am a fan of Duff but Kewell's got more pace and to me looks more like someone who will fit into our team better than Duff.

I am a big fan of duff but harry kewell would be a better signing for us. Who ever we sign will be the next big thing

Shanks personally feels that Duff would fit into your team better than the naturally inside strolling Kewell.

Kewell is a class player and would, they say, rather come to Liverpool. :)

Duffer, however, is apparently a life long Manc.

Shanks feels that this scenario will leave both parties happy.

kewell all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bit too inconsistent for my tastes, and I think if we get him its to be primarily a left wing replacement for Giggs and I'd still expect another striker or two.

I'd rather have Duff myself(no way does Kewell have more pace than Duff), but I would not complain about getting him for £6 million.

Lets have both Duff and Kewell just for the fun of it

he's currently residing in old portugal but is already out practising playing football in the rain and has been heard shouting at himself in broad scots. gotta be a good buy :)

Why's that a problem when we've got an endless supply of cash?

We tend to attract people you see. Even Leeds fans come to our forums just to get a little of the aura that is Manchester United. ;)
