Ugly bastard will probably get the book thrown at him for his totally unprovoked attack on Ruud yesterday. Deserves it big time.Link

I see Wenger was pissed off that the ref missed the handball before the goal, yet conveniently forgets Keown escaped from two red card incidents.

I was at the game and RVN is a cheating diving big girl's blouse.Keown is not a dirty player...he was just trying to defend his space (not quite as aggresively as your psycho captain is noted for)and RVN is such a cheat he dived to the ground as though he was hit by Lennox Lewis. ;)

i dun think that punch by keown is in anyway, light, why not you try letting keown hit your face and see if you'll be alright??

i admit that ruud sometimes falls down too easy for my liking, but not this time though.

i watched goals on sunday on sky today and they didnt even mention it!

if it had been keane or beckham that did it it would have been!

At least you admit Keown was more on target than "best striker in the world" Henry.

Wouldn't make any difference if he had. Players don't raise their arms, simple as that.

imo when you play against that fecking ape you use any means fair or foul to beat him, Gillespie you are crazy Martin K-Ee-Aww-en is the dirtiest fecking player in the Premiership and has been for a few years. He gets worse as he gets older coz he cant keep the pace any more. handball the fecking thing if keown comes near you, coz if you dont cheat first he fecking will.
:)

Keown is the most unpopular player in the Premiership. Not by fans and media, but by players themselves, including his team mates!

My mate plays with one of Keown's old Everton team mates, and he said he was hated by the Everton players. Arrogant, tight, grumpy twat was the words he used.

Ruud went down easily I agree but it's par for the course. If any of our defenders had been stupid enough to do what Keown did, your boys would have been hitting the deck too. Keown shouldn't raise his hands, if the ref had seen it he would have been off, when the video panel see it he'll get banned. Simple as that.

I'm sure Keown would have been sent off if the game was played at Highbury.
After all, the Wenger claimed that their poor disciplinary record was a result of the narrow pitch.

;)

he's a filthy dirty cnut, always has been against us - it was either him or grimaldi the other filthy cnut !!! anyway, was does arsey whinger always defend him, i know he';s ugly enough to be his love child !!!

What a dickhead....

The Football Association will investigate the clash between Arsenal's Martin Keown and Manchester United's Ruud van Nistelrooy during Saturday's Premiership encounter.

A copy of the match video has been requested by the FA, who will study Keown's apparent push in the Dutchman's face in an off-the-ball incident.

But the Gunners defender has been quick to play down the tussle, insisting it was not "malicious".

"We can confirm that the FA has today requested a copy of the video from the weekend's Premier League fixture between Manchester United and Arsenal," said an FA statement.

"This is to consider an incident involving Arsenal's Martin Keown and Manchester United's Ruud van Nistelrooy.

"The FA will consider the incident before deciding whether the matter will be referred to the video advisory panel."

Keown said he would be "sorely disappointed" if any disciplinary action was taken against him for what he considered a "minor incident".

"Ruud was standing on my foot so I just pushed him away with my hand in an attempt to free myself," said Keown.

"It certainly wasn't malicious. My only intention was to get him off me.

"I have apologised to the boss for getting myself involved in that kind of situation.

"But I have to say that I would be sorely disappointed if the FA take this matter further as I felt it was just a minor incident."

 Dirty ugly fecker.

Pretty pathetic if that's the best he can come up with after thinking about it for 2 days. Would have been better off just saying nothing.

what a pathetic excuse! Maybe he thought the FA panel would be as blind as his fecking wanker manager...

"I've not seen a replay of the incident"

Doubt you will watch either will you Wenger.

Wenger said he hasnt seen the incident but will defend Keown anyway.
