Well the article clearly states that he is signed as back-up because of an injury crisis. In that respect it's perhaps not so strange

I saw that the other day, good for him, although they don't really see him as having a first team future.
Yea I agree Id say he'll be released at the end of the season.
Seems to be doing well enough to maybe last a little longer than that, even just as reserve fodder.
What would be his postion with Chelsea be in terms of the new rules coming in?
