Kenny Strickland to Preston

From the BBC's Football Gossip:

Preston will swoop for Manchester United youngster Kenny Strickland. The 18-year-old right-back turned out for North End's reserves on Wednesday. (Daily Mirror)

I've not seen enough the lad play to know if this is would be good news or not, but I'll be sad to see him go just because it was always nice to see K.Strickland on the United squad list (closest I was ever going to get to playing for United!)

Yea a few of these rumours surfaced a week or 2 ago.. It now seems to be real..

Don't think he was going to get offered a contract (although I'm not sure) so at least he has found a good club to go to.

Good club for any youngster to go to. Was never gonna make the grade here IMO. Id say Gill wont be far behind him
