In any walk of life, you do what your boss tells you to bloody do. You dont swear at him etc unless you plan on quitting. Keane was stupid to think he could do and say what he did and get away with it.
In the WWE, Stone Cold didnt like a storyline they were gonna do for him so he packed his bags and didnt show up one night. Thats not professional.
This is no sunday league club, Keane was wrong to do what he did, he should've stuck it through just like I have to put up with my stupid University lecturers. Just like Beckham had to stick it out with Hoddle.
Maybe MM is also to blame for pushing Keano too far. I think Keane just couldnt respect a former team mate being his boss. If he shows so little respect for HIS MANAGER and ex-team mate, how much does he give our own Man Utd players?
If Keane did that to Fergie, would Keano be right? Just because the personnel change doesnt make the action right. What if another player did the same? Would he be wrong?
Keane is not bigger than this club. Thats the fecking bottom line. I dont care if he does it to MM, as long as he knows his bloody place (servant of Man Utd, team mate, and captain.) thats fine with me. Stay on that side of the line and its ok.</strong><hr></blockquote>
Couldn't agree more Shaolin.
Last night on Irish television Ray Houghton said that no matter what had happened Roy should have played in the world cup - you should have seen Dunphy's reaction (he's writing Keane's autobiography). He called it like it is - Keane over-indulged by everyone and failed to see the wood from the trees. His loss. I still had a great time in Japan - and some great Keano debates too!
