Keane for Blackburn

Much as I was amused by Keane's account of Daglish's "nobody does this to Kenny Daglish, you wee b@st@rd" rant yesterday doesn't anybody else find it disturbing that we were so close to losing out on Keane? <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" />

No coz we didn't lose out.
Daglish robbed Shearer from us though which was mildly irritating at the time.
None of the above are half as disturbing as the fact that we lost out on Zidane years ago. Fergie went to watch him play in France and even saw him play at OT in Euro 96. He went for Poborsky that year instead <img src="graemlins/houllier.gif" border="0" alt="[Houllier]" />

Yep, Fergie asked Eric whether the best attacking center midfielder in the world in years to come would like to play on the right.

As Eric said no, Fergie gave up.

Oh well, happens to all of us <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

It is though rather frightning to think that if Blackburn were wise enough to make sure Keane signs on the same day he said YES, he'd been a blackburn player!

yup thats haunted me every since. Zizou is The One Who Got Away of the decade for us.
