Not sure about the reliabilty of this place but it wouldnt be the first time Keane made a before schedule return, didnt he do the sam after his Deportivo injury last season?

i dont think theres any chance he'll get on the pitch. At least i would be surprised if he did.
He's had too much time out & an operation just to come back into the squad so quickly.

But as i said he normally does make quick comebacks, i wouldnt be surprised to see him on the bench.

It would be great if he could get on the bench for psycological reasons, but I dont think it will happen. :(

he shouldnt rush himself back just for the sake of it. I hope he's careful with his injury. As i know from my own painful experiences of a hip injury this year it takes a bit to settle down.
I just hope he's not rushing back before he's ready.

He has been doing everything in training in the past few weeks apart from twisting and turning. He will be fitter than ever when he comes back. If he can do the twisting and turning, he'll be back very soon.

It would wind the atmosphere up an extra notch too but I can't see it really

Putting him on the bench with no intention of playing him might even be worth it. Just to give them something to think about.

After the match both Sunday and last night SAF said nobody will be back for Sunday .
My presumption is he means the long termers as Veron will probably be over the flu..But he also went on to say the team would be the same as Sundays unlike him I know but he did say it

I think that we should keep the team as it was on Sunday. We beat the dippers at unfilled, we can beat the arse at OT. Fcuk Beckham and all the rest of them, I hope that none of them come back for Saturday and we win just to show them that nobody is bigger than the team.

C'mon UNITED!!!

The sun reckons Rio is going flat out to make this weekends match. If he is fit do you think he go right back into the side or sit on the bench and leave silvestre and wes in the middle?

I think that he meant The Sun newspaper, not the day of the week

I think he was refoerring to the fact that the thread is called "Keane back on Sunday?", which will be nice for him, a run around OT by himself ;)
