Leave it until the last day of the two week period for appealing. By the time the F.A get their slow arse into gear, it will be another couple of weeks. You rarely get a tougher sentence, but even if it is unchanged, he will then be fit for the Derby, Liverpool and Arse and miss games against the likes of West Ham, Blackburn, Middlesborough, Brum, Sunderland and West Brom (our games in late Dec/early Jan).

Reckon it'll be fixture list determined - worthington cup might be a determining factor as he wouldnt play there anyway. Also think that the FA would convene the hearing quickly, and he might miss both Liverpool and Arsenal.
