Dunno where this came from but a newspaper oday claims that Keano will take part in our youth team coaching this year and next year (or maybe year after) Keane will be assistant manager to Martin O'Neil AT OLD TRAFFORD!!

Meaning Fergie will step upstairs, Quiroz will maybe get more involved someplace else etc etc.

Blooy ridiculous but thought you should all be informed.

Well, TribalBollox is running the story so it must be true.

Sir Alex Ferguson would be kicked upstairs to assume a football director's role.

O'Neill's contract expires at the end of the season...so maybe there's a chance (I doubt it though)that SAF may become Technical Director or something like that an O'Neill may be manager, esp if Utd. do well this year.As for Keane becoming assistant, it's even more unlikely as we have Quieroz who is a really good assistant to have at the club, considering his credentials.

Can't really see SAF moving upstairs one year into his 3 year contract, irellevant of who else is interested in his job.

TBH, United have the pull to get whichever manager they want in 3 years time, and buy them out of a contract if necessary.
