Did anyone see his goal yesterday, feckin class it was, he'll most likely be sold for around 10 mil in the summer and he's mint so I say this is the time to buy him.

That'd replace Yorke and we'd still beable to buy that Cisse or whatever his name is or someone
 
My heart is still saying Cisse Cisse Cisse ... although John-John John's post make me put in another thought of it ...

Haven't seen Kanoute's goal now ... but then again, I have ALWAYS had high-regards on him ... the only negative side of him being his proneness to injury - else I think he's a GREAT player !! ..

Watched S vs N last nite - ... and I actually thought that it's just a matter of time before Philips will move on ... he's too much a talent to be stucked in a team which he's so restricted ... but you can see that he's still class ... Given made a good safe to barely deny him ....

IF we don't get Cisse .. then I say we look no further but to these 2 possibilities ... At least we do not need to worry of players not adapting to EPL games ... they are both already seasoned ...
 
I think Kanoute could do a great job for us but I'd like to see Jermain Defoe playing for Man Utd. The lad is a great prospect, he has scored loads of goals for the Hammers already, has been prolific for the England U21s and scored in ten successive game son loan at Bournemouth at the age of eighteen.

He may not be a Hammers regular but the fact that people have suggested he should soon be given a go in Sven's England side just shows how highly is rated. He is going to be a huge player.
 
Kanouté is definitely good, and at his age, you can be sure he will remain good. Cissé is too young to say he will be an top-class striker (I personnally think he won't... and if you talk with Auxerre fans, you'll see they think the same : they prefer Kapo and Tainio).
And the other thing is that Kanouté is good in the English League. If he scores with West Ham, you can be quite sure he would score with Man Utd. And that's important.
