We'll be in London next year - Kaka's mum -  Football news | MSN Sport UK

The mother of Real Madrid midfielder Kaka has opened up debate over her son's future, by claiming on her Twitter account that they will be in London in August.

Kaka has slipped down the pecking order in Madrid following a £59 million transfer in the summer of 2009 and has been constantly linked with a reunion with former AC Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti at Chelsea.

Sorry if it's been posted already - couldn't find anything.

Looking at her account it appears she later clarified she/they had been invited to some event in London by some bishop.

I was speaking to a Chelsea fan friend the other day. He admits they lack a creative midfielder, and I think Kaka could fit the bill. We'll have to wait and see, but if anyone thinks he'd be a bad signing, they are fecking deluded.

I suspected as much. She talked about spreading the word of God. I couldn't imagine her saying me means herself, her husband and Kaka. She gave the media a free meal ticket there.

Much like Torres, you'd be talking about another marquee signing that has been plagued with fitness problems and hasn't been anywhere near peak form for several years.

Obviously if they both get back to their best they'd be absolutely formidable. Torres has rarely been at his best playing alongside another striker (Aguero, Drogba, Villa...) and seems ideally suited to having a player like Kaka behind him, just like playing up top alone with Gerrard in behind brought out the best in him.

It seems a hell of a gamble to restructure an attack around not one but two injury prone players that have lost form for so long though, even more so when the Torres signing has raised question marks over where Drogba fits in long-term and a Kaka signing would arguably do likewise over Lampard. Chelsea have generally been that little bit more astute about where they've splashed the cash than City...I'm not sure this would be sensible for them or likely to happen. I could be wrong though. When Roman gets a hard on for a huge name signing he tends to keep itfor a fair few years - witness Shevchenko, Ballack and Torres.

Same was said when he signed for Madrid. He didn't have a bad first season, and well... the confederations and World Cup were... decent? Perhaph decent, at most, if we consider he plays for Brazil and he is a former WPOTY. He had his injury and operation and got relegated to the bench, he is still good, he shows that when he plays, but he is not the cracking player he used to be some years ago. Perhaps Chelsea would like to invest somewhere else or on some other player, especially after spending 50m on Torres. See who that turned out. If I were Roman, I wouldn't spend the 25m+ that Madrid would ask for Kaká.

Then again, he could turn into the next Madrid reject who turns into a winner, like Robben, Sneijder and, to some extent, Van der Vaart. Could he be that player at Chelsea especifically? I wouldn't bet for it.

Kaká looks like a former player now. However, he hasn't forgotten how to play football, has he? He could end playing for another team and rocking the league, and as a matter of fact, he should go out of Madrid if he wants to take a chance on it, but he has to work really hardly to do so. Chelsea? Hmm, I don't think it's the best option for the club because of the risk, but it's probably the best option for the player, if you ask me, it's a better option than City.

Would be a silly move for Chelsea, particularly if Ancelotti isn't going to be there. This is a good time for Roman to create a long term strategy by adding some promising youth rather than making another instant gratification FMish transfer such as with Torres.

Roman does make stupid moves though.

He is bit fidgety when it comes to long term plans. The best decision he could make is persist with a manager first, Ancelloti or his successor.

Chelsea will go for Hamsik or Sneijder to strengthen their midfield, both are younger than Kaka and unlike him they have actually been playing well for the past two years. I think they will get Hamsik and Sneijder will go to City.

Depends on where they see him playing.

Unless they change their formation or bin Lampard there's no space for him in the current set up.

Lampard has had a poor season with injuries but if he gets a pre season under his belt and gets somewhere near where he was he's 15 or 20 goals a season.

Kaka hasn't been the same since his knee injury at Milan a few seasons ago. Questionable whether the fast and physical PL will suit his style of play and whether injuries have taken their toll.

Could potentially be another Shevchenko, having to be crowbarred into the team to keep the owner happy.

Kaka's MOTHER has a twitter account?

WTF is this world coming to?
