lol feck off Juve.....

United's striker department has been targeted for an audacious raid by Juventus.

The Italian club have lost Brazilian hitman Amauri for at least two months with a knee injury – and they are on the lookout for a replacement.

Juve are considering January loan deals and have been casting an eye at both ends of the Old Trafford goalscoring spectrum.

They have noted that Dimitar Berbatov was dropped from Sir Alex Ferguson’s 18-man squad for last Saturday’s Wigan match for tactical reasons.

The Reds’ 29-year-old £30.75m club record buy has failed to build on his early season form and has now gone nine matches without a goal since his sensational hat trick against Liverpool in September.

But the Serie A club believe he could help their cause.

They are also said to be ready to ask about United’s Italian teenager Federico Macheda.

The 19-year-old Roman is back in the forefront of Fergie’s attacking plans, however, and the Reds boss has said he is keen to keep an eye on Macheda’s progress at Old Trafford, rather than let him out on loan.

It is likely both Juve’s ideas are doomed to failure, with Wayne Rooney only just back from injury, Michael Owen still out with a hamstring problem and only Javier Hernandez in form.

United could also face an enquiry from Greek club Panathinaikos about Anderson, who hasn’t been seen in action since the Bursaspor home match in the middle of last month. The 22-year-old was then a victim of a flu bug, but there has been no medical bulletin since and Panathinaikos are looking for a loan until the end of the season.

The Reds are expected to finalise the transfer of Aalesunds goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard at the end of the week when club officials have returned from Champions League business in Scotland. Share Article| Submit

Its like the Southpark take on Family Guy's writing style.
Get monkeys to randomly pick two teams from a pot and then randomly pick a player from the latter team, add a lot of unsubstantiated quotes and some modal verbs like 'might', 'could', 'should', 'would' and you have most of these bullshit tabloid articles that come out daily these days.

That's a real drop in, from United to Juve. Living off its past glories.

Monkeys? I clearly remember it being Manitee`s that randomly chose the idea balls in tha Episode!!
Hilarious stuff!

To be truthful it wouldn't surprise me. Juve are expected to do a major shake up to their team and apparently will be buying in quite a lot of talent. I also wouldn't be surprised if Benzema ends up there next season.

He'll do very well at Juventus (if it is true). Del Piero successor.

 Ever since I first saw that episode I've not been able to watch Family Guy without thinking how accurate it is!

Adebayor looks to be heading to Juve on loan in January, according to Adebayor, so I would imagine that will put a stop to rumours of Berbatov or Macheda heading there in January too.

You are supposed to use a period before using "however".

Is there even an editor? Some people just are bad at writing shit, and that's sad.

It's not incorrectly used, however.

That'll be the best thing that ever happened to them. I wonder if they'll have to shoot the donkey, you know how equine injuries go...

£50m and they can have both. Decision is final.

Using a period would be completely incorrect in that case. Nothing wrong with the punctuation they're.

go on, bite.

Obvious bullshit, but doesn't win the award for worst rumour of the day. The Mail claimed Atletic Bilbao were after John Carew today. Um, I don't think so somehow, unless there's Basque blood in him.

The MEN (and their other local papers) contain so many obvious spelling and grammatical errors it's laughable. Obviously they do not employ proof readers.

Well at least Berbatov might have something in common with the old lady if he went there. As for the interest... Show us the money. It wouldnt take much to make it worthwhile, but at the same time we're unlikely to be offered much.

Juventus are encouraging Manchester United to open swap talks for Gigi Buffon.

Gazzetta dello Sport says Juve are keen to discuss an exchange involving Buffon for United striker Dimitar Berbatov.

Juve see Berbatov as a replacement for Amauri, who suffered a knee injury last week.

Buffon has been long linked with United in the Turin press this season and returned to training at Juve this week.
