Its on sky again, oh my God!! I had forgotten how awful they are!!
One member of the public had the galls to argue politics and they respond by calling her a fat slag and suggesting she eats some more burgers!!!
Highly entertaining just for the fact it shows the nature of the BNP
Bigots

'The English have been here for thousands of years its our land'

Hmmmm, never mind that most English are actually immigrants anyway!!!! I do believe the original English were the Welsh and Scots!!

!!

just a thought... do you think they would support the repatrosiation of all the white folk in the usa and australia as the native americans and aborigionals have been there for 1000's of years?

Nope, not even them. The Scots are Irish Celts anyway. Celts invaded also, they are not indigenous. Saying that, no part of Europe (in fact most of the planet) has true indigenous humans.

 Remember our heated debate about nationalities during the Olympics

Well, we are Germanic, the Saxons built the modern world don't you know. Something to be proud of? The trouble exists when that pride manifests itself in the wrong way.

I don't know!!! Am glad I only watched half of it cos I felt myself getting quite annoyed with those women. So much so that I would quite happily have punched* them in the face!!!

* I know its not the answer but it would sure have made me feel better!!!

Interesting that one of their main arguements is based on other cultures 'taking over' England and that we should put a stop to losing our cultural identity. Didn't the British Empire do that to others?

The BNP's idea that the indigenous (by their definition of the word) population of Britain is white-European is bollocks anyway. Where I come from was heavily populated by North African Roman soldiers over 1,000 years ago, and 40% of men here have substantial North African DNA in their makeup, apparently.

Well, it's not surprising considering what went on on Ynys Mon.

Its ridiculous. BNP is a joke of a party. Watching this programme has reminded me to vote, and keep voting, so these bigots and their nazism do not come into power.

They're all extremely dumb people for supposed politicians, and could not even answer simple historic questions. BNP is a party for the average chav, and what scares me, as a British asian, is that there is an increase in the chav population in this country. We are as British as anybody, the world is a free world, and should be kept that way.

What about the Sami? Them and others were probably in Scandinavia as soon as it was habitable again (after the last ice age). What's the definition of indigenous anyway?

I'd take indigenous to be something that naturally occurred in its host environment. Therefore you can apply that to a base culture as well as a lifeform. I suppose that you could also apply the word to the oldest culture living in an area, but the point I was trying to make is that basically everyone on the planet is an immigrant at some point in their ancestral line. As for the Sami, seriously, how many actually still exist on the ethnic level? How much Germanic interbreeding went on? The Celts in Britain certainly did not build Stone Henge for example, and the culture that did certainly no longer exists.

Yeah thats a fair comment I reckon. I reckon the BNP believe we existed at the start of time, with jolly hockey sticks and leather on willow! all around the newly created fire.!!

Difference being that the Sami often live where no one in the right mind would like spend their life because of the climate. And often inland, where few others (understatement) live. Hence less interbreeding. And they have their own communities. Having said that, Stockholm is where many of the Swedish Sami live nowadays.

Aha!! Not too good on Spanish history! My main study in history was on WW2!

It's just the way that the colonisation was done. The way the British did it, at least in the second wave, was more akin to a business proposition with licences or charters given to companies to open and secure trade routes with the military for backup if desired. The Spanish model was more along the lines of securing land and mineral resources in the name of the monarch, and integrating those conquered lands directly into the kingdom of Spain, which included mass ethnic and cultural cleansing. The British never did this to anywhere near the same extent (money and trade that brings it was the focus, although anything that got in the way of that they tried to deal with by whatever means possible). You only have to look at South and Central America to find how many people there actually speak languages other than Spanish (or Portugues in the case of Brazil), especially as a first language. Do the same with the former colonies of Britain and there was little destruction of culture in the same respect.

Yeah, thinking about it thats true. Though any form of ethnic and cultural cleansing is of course wrong. Though you can argue about Australia, Africa and the North Americas. The latter two I guess were more of a joint venture (if thats what you could call it), but its interesting that English is the main language there. Looks like my World history is actually a bit crap too. I knew I should have paid more attention in college!!

Well, that's certainly a truth with modifications. At least in Africa, the Brits were no different to anyone else in the level of cultural domination imposed. It's actually quite a big issue among proponents of Pan-Africanism, that the language of education and literature is English.

You need to define what you are talking about, because I never modified the truth.
