clearly the most boring movie i`ve seen this year... everything is the same, it`s like they were shooting both sequels straight after the first one, boring dialogues, same old looks, no tension whatsoever, you basically just wait for them to succesfully rob the next casino.. simply an empty movie you absolutelly dont care about. what a waste.

Really? Most of the reviews I read were pretty favorable....

I seriously dont know why. From the start you basically know exactly what is going to happen. It`s the nature of the story, it simply has to happen that way. I think it is terrible when the view already knows all that because then the movie just seems to be filling the parts which are already constructed. You know who`s playing, you know the location, you know the ending. No surprises, no tension, no twists, pure emptiness.

You're meant to just sit there feeling slightly uncomfortable and confused watching Clooney, Pitt, Damon and Bernie Mac being all slick and smooth and stylish and manly. Then go home and just bask in denial and paranoia

"Anyway, the new plot is so outlandish that Soderbergh, and writers Brian Koppelman and David Levein wisely gloss over any of its details for fear we’d laugh the film off the screen. And we don’t really need to know what they’re trying to pull off because Soderbergh doesn’t waste any energy trying to build suspense or tension. You know Danny’s going to come out on top and you know that anything that seems to go wrong will simply turn out to be a clever twist that Danny had anticipated all along. Yawn."

"The film relies heavily on insider humor. Cryptic comments, punch lines with no set ups and smug gags between the stars are tossed out and designed to deliberately make people feel like outsiders. The goal—be obscure so people will feel as if they’re just not hip enough to get the inside jokes but they’ll be too embarrassed to complain because then that will mark them as uncool. Get the logic? Well, what it means it that no one works very hard at anything."

I enjoyed it. Sure, it is completely predictable and light, but was very fun in my opinion. I love the way Sodenbergh shot all three ocean's films. I can see why some would hate it, but I did not.

You shouldnt believe reviews. Though I tend to agree with Ebert a lot.

'"Ocean's Thirteen" proceeds with insouciant dialogue, studied casualness, and a lotta stuff happening, none of which I cared much about because the movie doesn't pause to develop the characters, who are forced to make do with their movie-star personas. Take Don Cheadle, for example. After the magnificence of his performance in "Hotel Rwanda" and the subtle, funny, sad power of his leading role in Kasi Lemmons' upcoming "Talk to Me," we get him hanging around in this film, looking like they needed him to get to 13. I guess he has to make movies like this to pay the mortgage. My advice? Rent. You have no idea about the headaches of homeownership.'

I saw it. It's honestly not the sort of movie you can complain about - you know what you're getting, and it's a fun way to pass some time. Not sure what people are expecting when they go see it.

The soundtrack is ace by the way. As were the previous two.

I say it earlier in the week, absolutely shite, it's boring, predictable, and there is absolutely no tension at all. A waste of of Al Pacino's talent putting him in such a dull lifeless film.

I'm going to see it next week i think, doubt it will live up to 11, but i'll be disappointed if it's not better than 12
