Just rented Euro 2008 for the 360...

Was really the only football game they had available..
been playing it for a few hours.. might be getting FIFA 08 in a couple of days..

And yes I only just got an X-box like a couple of weeks ago or so.

Getting my ass handed to me online...Any tips? Suggestions etc?
 
Plenty on passing, use passing rather than running with the ball. Ease off the sprint, and use through balls only when you have to. O and when you do score, learn how to do the acrobatic celebrations.

I won a big tournament with the Faroe Islands ages ago! Its a great game.
 
Haha, me neither. From the advanced demo I got, its class. Slight frame rate problem, but im sure that will be fixed! Class game, well overtaken Pro now.

I only had the disk for a couple of hours, its just to get a taste of it. I dont review on advanced demos though, there is normally alot left to do to make it the finished product.
 
I'd rent before you buy the next FIFA. I've bought the past two FIFA's only to be extremely depressed I'd just blown all that money.

Buy Fifa. Its mint. Best football game. Better than Pro. Buy on day of release and play untill you are no longer shit online, then play your life away.
 
We're in a similar predicament. Microsoft stole mine, but im getting mine back on monday.

Have to say, so far I really like the game play..pleasantly surprised as this is the first EA Sports football I've gotten since FIFA 2003... Always had Pro-Evo after that...

FIFA 2009 should be something to look forward to... EA have really surprised me.
 
It's a quality game, but has anyone else noticed how fecking little players make runs into the box? You could be out on the wing about to whip in a cross and your two strikers literally run away from the box
