why aren't we allowed to see the newbie forum?
Good question. Anyone banned from a certain part of this site can still look at the posts if you log out,but the newbie forum is off limits.
I'm guessing recomendations from regular posters to promote newbies aren't welcomed by a certain mod.Somebody made that decision.
I want access to the Newbies. I bet they all read my posts and think I'm great, I should be able to go and read of their adoration of me
The newbies was horrible for me, everybody was talking bollocks, then I got promoted after about 30 posts, and found out that talking bollocks was the norm.
I don't think there was a newbies when I started.I'd still like an answer on why you can't read their posts though.It was very entertaining.

Niall made that decision, because he felt newbie returnees were only really there to show off to the main forum.
He was right, and returnees and wums have quieted down a lot.
thankyou all for your kind welcome .i do think it would be an idea to have another level of poster who can see and post on the newbie maybe not able to give rep points but to up the level of both quantity and quality over there .
actually, there is a group of posters who can see and post on the newbie forum
but it's not to up the quality lever there, else, i wouldnt be in that group

It was a fun place, the newbies . . . Hectic and sincher dropping in for daily ego boosts, the bliss of having to analyse contributions along the lines of 'Man Utd rox', trying to be voice of reason; there was so much potential for a good laugh at someone, it was unreal.
I miss that about the newbies.
