Game wise, Fifa 98 was big this year, but some say ISS Soccer 2 is better. Personally, im more of a sensible soccer man. Fifa 98 has superb graphics, but the game play isn't all that.
Other must have games are Pong, mario cart racer and boxman.

i made the switch from 360 to PS3 a while ago and its a million times better, plus i dont have to fecking pay an annual subscription to play online, but to answer your question COD Modern Warfare is a favorite of mine, GTA, fifa, Saints Row 2

How much should one be paying for a 360, baring in mind I'm willing to go down the used route? I've been flirting with the idea for a while, and had intended a successful night in Kilbeggan last night would have paid for it, only Ruby Walsh decided to be a cnut.

If you go used it will be very cheap, but I wouldnt reccomend it
i sold my one for 220 euro with a controller and 3 games, have seen them being sold in game second hand for 220-250 euro

I found Halo 1 the most fun, the storyline was intriguing and it felt really epic.
2 and 3 were ok, but the wow factor was gone for me.
Buy an old Xbox to play Halo, sell your 360 as new and buy a PS3.
I can see that we all are, talking about Tetris and an 11 year old football game.
FIFA 98 was one of the best games of its time IMO. I had it on PC, was absolutely hooked.
But can you run it on an XB360?
Halo 3 is pretty poor on its own, but I must say one of the most entertaining gaming experiences I've ever had was when me and a mate played it through co op in one sitting, comparing stuff in the game to things in real life (like at a point in the game where you have to drive around an exploding station crumbling we kept going on about how it was like Patrick's driving test - some idiot friend of ours).

COD WaW is better. Its so much more realistic. On COD4, none of the guns have proper recoil. The amount of recoil on the snipers is laughable. And grenades are ridiculous on that game. They're like throwing tennis balls.
Not to mention COD WaW having better graphics and more game modes.

Netlfix on the 360 takes it to another level. PS3 has nothing like it and it makes an enormous difference.
It runs on the same game engine as COD 4, so on the technical level there isn't much difference between them.
It's an old engine also, which is why the next COD (MW2) looks a little dated.
