The next big thing? Another quality player Brighton have got.

Chelsea will be around soon.

I love that goal he scored against Chelsea. He hit it so perfectly!

To be fair even Welbeck is looking amazing in this Brighton team. I’m wary of how all of their players will perform in a different team and system. Right now they are all thriving in a well drilled system and style of play.

English Dortmund

I really like the look of him, better than the overrated Mitoma

Mitoma overrated? I've seen him torment almost every rightback he's gone up against this season, except of course for AWB.

But Ben White is a good defender and Mitoma gave him fits yesterday.

Mitoma looks like a phenomenal 1v1 isolation dribbler but he seems pretty one footed. We’ll have to see if he has the end product too next season

In before the United fans that are salty about Brighton for some reason invade this thread

Enciso looks another good player for Brighton but it's my opinion that there is actually very little ability-wise between a lot of players at elite level, it's simply environment, trust, confidence, then systems that allow them to flourish. When every player they have is a "gem" then maybe it's as much to do with the system as the players themselves. Look at Cucurella at Chelsea for example outside of it. Also you wouldn't be that surprised if Milner is suddenly very good again next season at Brighton. Brighton have a special thing going, but doesn't mean all their players are worth 100 million.

Good player, but let's see how he does in a big team.

Brighton is happy with the placement they just got in PL(5th), that wouldn't be enough for a big club.

Don't know why anyone would be salty about Brighton? They're doing great, the scouts deserve credit for the talents they keep finding and De Zerbi for the football he's got them playing

People often praise our scouts. As if they are magical talent finders. The truth is we take a chance on highly rated youngsters, but have an amazing club structure for their careers. This starts with having player liaison staff whose sole job is to look after their loved ones and family.

It’s not one magical thing which has brought us to where we are. It’s dozens of really boring things, really boringly managed by very talented people behind the scenes.

Yep. The difference between him and some of the other top young prospects in the league is more the fact he’s getting actual game time in a team that are playing pretty good football.

Had my eye on him these past couple months, scorer of great goals.

Fair play it's working well, you're definitely one of the best teams to watch at the minute. It's a big summer trying to replace Caceido and MacAllister if they both leave but I'm interested to see how the team develops and does in Europe next year

Why would anyone be salty about Brighton? They find gems for next to nothing, while we splurge on Mason Mount. Folk should be salty about us.

People are salty mostly because of the way they raised their game against us when they won 1-0 in the league, celebrated like they had won their third CL in a row and then put in some phoned in performances afterwards with massive squad rotation. Personally I still take it as a compliment that other teams treat playing us as their cup final and of course they had added incentive after losing the semi final to us.

Well that's just silly. Brighton are a quality side. They didn't raise their game against us at all. They just played to their usual standard. It's only natural that they want to do well against us. We are a quality side too.

Brighton take a punt on a promising teenager from Paraguay: hits the ground running and scores bangers against the best teams in the league.

United take a punt on a promising teenager from Uruguay: 2 years on and only had a handful of appearances and an unsuccessful loan at spain.

Conclusion: Paraguay>Uruguay.

Is that the best strike of the PL this season? Better than his one against Chelsea

Honestly this guy has impressed me the most out of the Brighton players. McAlister, Mitoma, Ferguson and Caceido get all the mentions, but Caceido aside I think he could very well be the best of the lot. Only 19 and has a bit of extra magic in him already.

Great awareness, good dribbling, passing and a great shot. A little bit like Aguero playing as an AM.

Getting linked with City :(

Since joining Brighton, he's overtaken Sarmiento as my favourite player to watch there. Before leaving, I hope they get to play together at Brighton because I think they'll link up well, and there already seems to be a bromance:

Doing a Dragon Ball Z fusion dance together!

The feck.

Brighton scored to win that game in 97th minute so of course there's going to be more feeling in that than say a goal in first half. They qualified for europa league by two points in the end so that late goal mattered big time for them in the run in.

They also went 10 days later to the Emirates and wiped the floor with Arsenal so they're very good against the other top teams in the league not just Man. United.

Already knew him. I follow Brasil Serie A, Libertadores and Sudamericana cup. He benefited from being in a team with veterans like Oscar Cardozo and Roque Santa Cruz, players who despite the age are extremely competitive.
