His all round game isn't good enough that's his problem.
Suppose King and Gustede are playing well at the moment, but I see Rhodes as a lower prem level striker so a little surprising.
Strange move at this point in the season, when you're still in the cup!
Always thought he would be capable of being a Premier League striker for a lower midtable side... would be a great signing for Middlesbrough as he would a) fire them into the Premiership and b) be a good striker for them next season.

If you want just a finisher then Jordan Rhodes is your man.....153 goals in his last 279 games (5 seasons for Hudderfield and Blackburn). But you can't play football with him.
