Manchester United have reportedly made their move for highly-rated Hamburg defender Jonathan Tah.

United have been tracking the 16-year-old centre-back for months, but after he dallied over signing a new contract with Hamburg, Sir Alex Ferguson has made his move.

Tah, a Germany Under-17 international, is considered one of the brightest prospects in the Bundesliga, but is said to believe his future lies away from the AOL Arena.

Bayern Munich have previously been linked with a move to try and keep Tah in the country, but United are said to be willing to offer superior terms to get their man.

Arsenal have also been rumoured to be following Tah, but they have made no approach to Hamburg to discuss terms, and United have moved into pole position.

It’s thought the German club will ask for a compensation fee in excess of £300,000 before allowing Tah to move to England – a position strengthened as the player still has two years left on his current deal.

Alright lads. Would you all just try and read this page again? Are you proud of yourselves?

UEFA need to ban movement of players U18 abroad.

Of course they shouldn't - but it should be a lot more expensive to sign them. And besides how can they ban them ? Shall they ban families from moving to another country ?
