Have you really watched him play when he was here? He just can't say he get no chance, as he was being given more chance than every other youngsters we have at that moment (Wilson, Chadwick, Healy, Wallwork, Curtis, etc.) However he never impressed. When there was chance to score he missed it and when there was chance to beat a defender he passed the ball to the nearest teammate.

Remember chance is rare and very precious in a big club such as us, and when a youngster get a chance he must grap it with his both hands. Otherwise we cannot hold on him and let him play in our reserve forever.
