I could catch a monkey
and Blanc too...from skysports.com

Ronny Johnsen and Laurent Blanc have both recovered from injury to boost Manchester United ahead of their Champions League semi-final showdown with Bayer Leverkusen.

Johnsen has been out for three weeks since damaging his hamstring in United's quarter-final second leg win over Deportivo La Coruna.

Blanc twisted his knee in the 2-2 first-leg draw against Leverkusen at Old Trafford. Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed: "Ronny Johnsen is back and everyone else is fit too."

Ferguson said all the players who sat out Saturday's win at Ipswich with various minor knocks are fit. Fabien Barthez, Juan Sebastian Veron, Mikael Silvestre, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes will all return for the Reds.

United flew out to Germany on Monday with a strengthened squad and only long-term casualties Gary Neville and David Beckham were missing for the semi-final second leg in the BayArena.

United must repeat their heroics from Turin three years ago, when they beat Juventus 3-2 if they are going to make Ferguson's dream final at Hampden Park become a reality after being held 2-2 last Wednesday.

Excellent news!

Brown has been superb though.......

Fergie must really like Johnsen, he always seems to go straight into the starting XI no matter how long he'e been out. No wonder really, the guy's class.

Brown as right back anyone?

I'd be happy with Wes as RB.
Dennis had a very good game vs Ipswich, but might be a bit slow when up against Ze Roberto...

yeah I'd be a lot happier with Brown at RB than Phil or Denis. Great news about Johnsen, perfect timing - hopefully he's not too rusty!

Rusty? This is Johnsen we're talking about here! He's never rusty. Out for a year (never mind a forthnight) doesn't seem to affect him one bit.....

Thank God, Ronny and Laurent at CB's. Thats good to hear, and yes, I would put Wes and Silvestre at FB's, as I would much rather see Wes than either Irwin or Phil.

Yipppppppppppppeeeeee Ronny Johnsen is going to be playing!

Hey hey... This is good news! I'm looking forward to this line-up:

Barthez
Brown Blanc Johnsen Silvestre

Veron/Scholes Keane Butt Giggs

Ruud Solskjær

I think we're gonna make it even the statistics are against us, but the fact that keano's back will help us overcome the "krauts"...

This bloody good news!!

Both O'Shea and Brown did well against the tractor boys.

We're going to have a side full of half-fit players by the looks of it.

Perhaps so. The game on Tuesday will be very tough, and I don't think anyone should be too overly confident about a win. I know we can do it, as we did against Deportivo, but it is a mountain to climb. No matter what, we have to go out to score 2 goals, but hopefully 3. Away from home against a clinicaly typical German side is a very tough task Presume the worst and you'll be delighted if we get the result we need

And there's a name for it - Stoicism!

That's why I've a 50 euro bet with a mate that Beyer will go through. Horrible and all as it is to bet against Utd, it would allow me to drown my sorrows at least...

At this stage of the season, both sets of players will be nursing their wounds, however it's the adrenalin rush that get's you through it!

Should we call that "Sorrow Insurance"?

At least Bayer are so knackered that they've lost their last 2 league games and possibly the Bundesliga title because of it. Evens it up a bit I suppose.

You could look at it that way or you could also say that the disappointment of those results will only spur them on more to do well in the Champions league!
