Been considered a talented player for awhile, and had a great season at PSV this year. Can play both as a single pivot and as one of two in a double pivot. Heavily linked to numerous PL-clubs. More than any, West Ham. Very likely to be seen in the PL next year.

Great passer of the ball. Press resistant. Probably not the best defensively off the ball. Not very quick, but seems very agile and is a hard worker. Was in the 85th and 84th percentile for ball recoveries both in the Eredivise and CL this season.

In a possession-oriented team he would be a Rodri-light type of player. In the past we have seen players who have been more attacking at a younger age become DMs as they makes the step up and become more experienced. That was the case for someone like Roy Keane, but also Matic who was an AM in Eredivise. We also saw how Klopp moved Mac Allister into a DM-position with great success this season. Veerman have been quite versatile, and already operated in numerous roles in Eredivise. One of them as a single pivot.

Maybe someone to keep an eye on this summer? Both in the Euros and during the transfer window. Would maybe be talked more about in here if it were not for Donny, Antony and a few other unsuccessful signings from Eredivise. I think Man Utd really miss a player with his ability on the ball in midfield (range of passing and ability to keep the ball under pressure). But as always, difficult to say how he would do at a higher level and maybe not Man Utd-levl. Was quite good in the CL though.

Will he even play in the Euros?

Don't we have to be linked to the player before he is posted in this thread??
It will become a free for all naming players otherwise.

Oh, I’m sorry, did not know that. I though it was sufficient that the player were likely to transfer somewhere. It is not likely at all he will transfer to Man Utd, but very likely he will transfer to the PL with both Newcastle and WHY scouting him heavily.
