Joey Veerman

PSV are definitely not selling any more players in this window... although they might as well, sold away any chance of winning the league.

Will you be at De Kuip on Sunday?
Nope, I will renew my season ticket next season when my son is nearly 5, so we will go together. Havent been to a match in almost a year since my wife works weekends quite often.

I got a season ticket at Ajax when he was 10. We had tickets till he was 21.
Have fun with your son.
Anyway we are off topic
Not a great fan of Joey, good footballer but will probably end up at West Ham or Everton or a team of that caliber

That sounds awesome :)

Veerman is an asset in the Eredivisie, but I think he'll lack both quickness and strength for the premier league, be it United or West Ham. He's also impressively unlikable which Im sure, as an Ajacied, you'll agree on :wenger:

Agree he is a cl*****zak

off topic gain. First game I ever saw in Holland live was the cup winners cup final between United and Barcelona at De Kuip. Great experience

Yeah Veerman looks more like a box to box than DM and doesnt seem to be a very good tackler either so probably isnt what we need.
I understand the Berge as an alternative, but I think he's crap. He seems more like a McTominay or Eriksen alternative.

Good player, a little confused why he didnt play more for Netherlands in the euros. They liked Schouten and Reijnders instead. Same with Wieffer but now hes gone to Brighton I can see him doing well.

Not good enough... Also he was not on good terms with Ruud. Sure that he is on some sort of list with many other players, but small chance they will pick him out of that list.

This the guy that had the horror show at the Euros, got benched 35 minutes in and cried on the bench?

At this point whoever Ten Hag recommends should be automatically discarded

Tbf we once had Alex Buttner.
Veerman isnt a terrible player, but he's the epitome of a player that looks good in our league, but has nowhere near the power and strength for the premier league.

He was badly found out at the Euros as well and was subbed off after 30 minutes against Austria.

He has absolutely nothing in common with Ugarte. He was also less than stellar at the Euros. And I fully agree he is another player that looks good in the Eredivisie and would be exposed immediately in the Premier League.

Luckily, it's just Duncan Castles, so the chances are high he hasn't even been considered.

I doubt ETH suggested him. Maybe a smokescreen to put pressure on PSG for Ugarte or just lazy press connecting every possible dutch player to us.

For once a player I've actually seen play a few times! There is no way this guy is good enough for us. Looks great in the Dutch League but I've seen him have since e bad European and international games.

Most laughable rumor so far. In no way a PL footballer. He has some passing range and vision, that's about it.

Veerman started two games, played far below par, was subbed early 2nd half and in the 1st half even those games.. Had some good cameos in the later stages though.. And Wieffer was injured then..

Veerman is a good player, has awesome passing and always has his head up and plays forward.. But his overall game is not Manchester United level..

I think he's Spain or Italy bound with his style of play, but i'd love to see him surprise me and make an impact in the PL for a ball playing mid table team.. But still, not of the level United should be after..

Castles seemed more sure that we’re interested in Sander Berge than Veerman. I've hardly seen Berge play. Has he been good for Burnley?
