Heard anything about this scousers?

Liverpool are lining up a £15m move for West Ham’s Joe Cole if they cannot get hold of Kleberson, according to reports. The Hammers may have to cash in on Cole in January if they appear to be relegation-bound and Liverpool could certainly benefit from his skill in midfield.

Would be lovely if it came true. Pool waste 15m to match up one overrated midfielder with another.
 
Joe Cole won't be going to Liverpool, he won't be going to Arsenal, won't be going to United, Chelsea, Leeds, Blackburn or any other team. He'll be with West Ham until they ask for £4M only and then he'll end up at Aston Villa, Southampton or an other mediocre team where his mediocre skills will still be mediocre.
 
The guy is so overated - fantastic touches and flashes of skill, but thats nothing without end product which he seems to rarely deliver.

If I had to pick a player from West Ham with serious potential it woould have to be Defoe, without question.

And the good thing is that Sir Alex likes Defoe alot as well ;)

Cole is a fantastic talent, but not the kind of player we need. We need to beef up the side, and Cole won't do that.

Cole can become a quality player, and he'll have a quality team behind him at Liverpool, not like at West Ham :) but we have midfielders coming out our ears, so i dunno why we'd be interested in him, or lizarazu for that matter, but if hes a freebie, that'd be ok :)

This rumour has been floating around for about 18months.

Houllier may have mentioned that he rates him once and so the papers do the sums!!

Can't see it happening though!! The two young French kids are arriving next Summer and Cole hasn;t developed like he should have!!

Cole is a waste of space imo. For all his flair he doesnt get anywhere.

One is a striker, I think the other one is more of an attacking midfielder.

To be honest I don't know a lot about them other than what I've read, and some repoters class Smicer as a striker.

I'd go along with that. His biggest weakess IMO is a lack of strength; he just fades amongst bigger players, or he lacks the power to finish a run with a strong shot.

Cole is horrible. I would take a one-legged, blind, off-form Ronaldinho before Joe Cole.

I haven't seen them play so I can't say, But Houllier thinks so!!

The reports on them are very good and they are supposed to be two of the hottest properties in French football.

I beleive Sir Alex was after them too, alomg with most managers across Europe!!

I saw le Tallec play last summer in one of the youth tournaments and he was superb. The other kid is supposed to be good, too.
