Joaquin (Betis) is on for a Bosman this summer

Just like to make the case for the possible purchase of this kid. He plays on the right wing for Betis and is one of Spain's biggest young talents. He played in the World Cup this summer as well. He has had a fall out with the board this year and his contract is expiring in the summer. Madrid Roma and Barcelona are sniffing round. Our advantage is that Barcelona cannot offer Champions League football and Madrid cannot guarantee him a regular place. The real competition should only come from Roma. United can't lose on this one because even if he doesn't settle we can always sell him on and make a 100% profit. His value is only gonna rise. The lad is young, pacey, skillful and will give that penetration that United have missed since Kanchelskis. Some one pleeeeease agree with me. He really is one not to miss out on.

This kid is an explosive talent but are you aure he's on a bosman? Can't believe he hasn't signed a pre-agreement with some other club yet. Any links to validate that his contract is expiring?

Very good player! Do you remember the match Spain vs South-Korea at World Cup? He wrong a penalty, but he play a great match!!!
How many cost?

bye Max

Trust me, the lad is NOT on a bosman. If he was there would be a queue of clubs after him

but as we know there have since been rumors that real have their eyes on another right winger...

Joaqin would be the best replacement for Beckham we could get...

Unless my source is incorrect. See Transfer section of www.soccer-spain.com. It refers to his contract expiry.

Sorry boys, my mistake checked some sources out and it appears his contract is not up until at least 2005. The dream was nice while it lasted. He's got a 60m Euro buy-out clause but is having a dispute with the board over a new contract.
