just finished watching season2...wow..they packed a lot into 7 episodes

I know they'll probably never get it off the ground but I for one would love to see a 3rd series to see where they go with the civil war angle

One of the most interesting shows I've ever seen.

Real shame they took it off the air.

I'm still hoping another network will pick it up.

The second series was a little disappointing. Probably because it was such a rushed and compressed affair due to them having to get to some sort of acceptable end within the 7 show limit before they canned the show.

I didn't say I didn't enjoy it. I just think they spoilt it by rushing. My missus liked the first series more than I did but didn't bother watching all of the second series.

TV I was just about totally satisfied with recently.

Life On Mars
The State Within

Ashes To Ashes was decent but not a patch on its predecesor but worth it for Gene Hunt alone.

I'm also enjoying The Grid so far (2.5 hours into the 8) despite some of the dodgy settings in some of the Middle East scenes.

See :p

Although the amount of utter cack in TV, movies and music at the moment is unbelievable.

Track down the alternative ending if you haven't already. It's not that alternative tbf, but worth getting a hold of if you're a fan.

Is it just me or is Wibble never completely satisfied with anything.

There are far worse than him on this forum.

just watched season 1 and 2 again on DVD

Hawkins has to be one of my favourite characters in any TV show

although its so weird seeing him speak normally in his cockney accent compared to his Jericho accent

doesnt look like a 3rd season is going to happen :(

The second series was a shambles due to them trying to move quickly to a conclusion that might otherwise have taken 20 odd episodes or even 2 whole seasons.

Have you seen the adverts for the American version of Life on Mars on channel ten?
Not seen Ashes to Ashes, what was that on or did you buy the DVD...???

It was good in the first season, season 2 was crap. Had a lot of potential too

I can't see how an American version of Life On Mars won't be an utter disaster. I'll PM you about Ashes To Ashes.

Read the story that they have reshoot the whole pilot episode for the US version. It doesn't look good.

Personally, I thought that Life on Mars wasn't that hard to translate to US television, most of the inside jokes and situations can be found in 80s US cop drama.
