Anyone read this story yet?

Apparently there's a book coming out about Fergie and some of the dodgy things he's done at Old Trafford, especially things to further his son Jason's career...

Sources say he told Beckham he would be effing sold if he didn't go with Jason as his manager and told Greening and Wilson they would be left to rot in the reserves if they didn't do likewise...

Beckham supposedly just said 'ok, i'm going' and walked out, whereas Greening and Wilson were sold...

It was in the mail yesterday, so i'll try and find a link...

Nope, can't find it...

I must have dreamt it up last night or something..

Oh well...

It was in the Mail, its part of an ongoing attack by the Mail on Jason and Alex. BTW They don't put all their stories on Soccernet.

I think they also ran a story saying one condition of Alex re-signing as manager was to not use Jason as the agent anymore. Don't know whether there is any truth in any of this.

Yeah, it's being serialised in the tossy rag known as the daily mail, but not on their website, soccernet.com

the story with becks isn't to do with Jason, although the greening one is. with becks, story is he came to fergie when he was 18 and told him he had an agent, and fergie went mental, and told him to get rid of him or he'd be sold. becks called his bluff.

not sure whether to believe this stuff, but the author is Michael Crick, who was responsible for uncovering everything about Jeffrey Archer, and who has written a biography of him, as well as of Michael Heseltine. He's an amazing journalist, investigative reporter (does stuff for Newsnight, very respected). he's also a united fan, and one of the leaders of the United Shareholders. partly responsible for preventing the murdoch takeover.

Fergie is a stubborn bastard, that's for sure, so i'd believe it...

Yeah I heard about this, if proved I wonder if he can get into much trouble? There is obvious potential for Fergie to pay over the odds for a player linked with Jason's agency & then hopefully benefit his family.

Can see some shareholders being more than a little hacked off if they find out their money is being siphoned off into the managers son's company.
