All I have is Nottingham Forest's crazy owner spending like 8M to get Moussa Dembele since Awonyi doesn't look anywhere near ready up top.

I would have said Gapko to Juventus because there's not a lot of big teams who seem to need an attacker who isn't a #9 or RW, and they desperately need some creativity to supply Vlahovic and any 3 of Chiesa, Gapko, Di Maria and Costic behind him looks pretty promising, but they've got another scandal.

Kudus to Villa (on the wing in a 4-4-2) or to Brighton (to take Lallana and Gross's minutes going forward as a #10 type and maybe Trossard demands a move in the summer anyways) seems plausible too.

Davies looked a bit cooked, so I could see Gvardiol to Spurs for 80M, they really don't have a ton of holes in the squad apart from a creative midfielder and wingbacks, and I don't think Levy will let Conte buy another Perisic type without giving Spence and Sessegnon a real shot, feels more like they'll maybe sign one under threat of Conte resignation in the summer.

Hincapie seems like a good Leeds type signing and they need more pace and organization and a left-footer at the back.

United will sign Memphis Depay and loan-in a mediocre right-back.

United will definitely sign an attacker to replace Ronaldo, as above Depay looks the most likely loan although Moussa Dembele only has six months left on his contract as well. As for Gapko, I think he is a summer signing.

I think it might be quite a busy window, with clubs looking to cash in where their players have performed above expectations at the world cup.

If United are up for sale, then you'd expect transfer spend to drop to zero, but we are light up front so I could definitely see the club trying to get a loan deal arranged for a forward.

It is so hard to predict this year with the season being so special due to the World Cup and all, but if I had to guess I would say that my predictions are (please note that this is just my guesswork, I don’t have any sources):

-A lot fewer transactions will take place than we expected.

-Someone who profits from making spare parts for keyboards, especially the F5 key, make a ton of profit and buy Manchester United.

-A member of the Glazer family takes part of an interview crying about how tough life is without dividend, mentioning inter alia that they had to let their chauffeur go.

-We make a big announcement of how we resigned someone.

-Victor Lindelof is accused of being a Russian spy.

-Hulu announces that a reality show called The Sanchos will be aired during the spring. First episode will show footage from his miraculous training camp in the Netherlands where cameras followed him 24/7 and he had a GoPro cam on while training.

-On the evening of February 2, it’s announced that we signed young promising Joao Moreira from Sao Paolo (the deal was completed in time, but the fax machine at Carrington had issues which delayed the announcement).

I think this is the opposite, if United are up for sale a Champions League place makes them more attractive, no champions league place again means there is leverage for buyers to negotiate the price down.

I don't think you'll spend wildly, but a forward option is very likely.

If they feel a takeover will be done before the Summer Transfer Window, then I don't think they'll sign anyone until that's sorted

I think now more than ever they would want United to qualify for the CL. Raises the club's market value.

I genuinely think the Glazers are too incompetent to understand that. But Ronaldo definitely needs replacing or United will not get 4th, quite simply

Trossard to Chelsea is a good shout.

I think he's too similar to Sterling, though Trossard for Pulisic + 10M makes a ton of sense. He might do really well under De Zerbi, play Mitoima on the right and go 4-3-3 like he did a lot in Italy I guess.

In general, when businesses are up for sale, capex drops to close to zero.

In the case of United, the cash is more valuable than a load of players who may or may not be hits and therefore may or may not actually be worth anything. If the club really is up for sale, one would expect United to spend little-to-nothing on transfers in the interim.
