Carlisle trial for ex-Man Utd man

"Carlisle are giving a one-week long trial to former Manchester United winger Jamie Mullan. The 19-year-old was released by the Old Trafford club recently. Mullan progressed to the Mancester United reserve side two seasons ago and has trials with Leeds and Huddersfield over the course of the last month.

Greg Abbott told Carlisle's website: "We'll have a look at him over the course of the next week and then we'll see where we go from there."

He has had trials at Leeds, Derby and Huddersfield among others.....fingers crossed!

i guess he didnt succeed at Leeds, derby and Huddersfield right? That's a shame...he's not a bad player at all... surely worth a go at one ofthese clubs

Huddersfield said they were looking for someone who could go straight into the side and do a job for them now, and Derby are ofc a Premiership side - Jamie's not Prem quality for me. not sure what happened at Leeds, seemed to drag on for a while and it looked like they'd sign him as soon as their embargo on transfers was lifted.
