Cullum is shit. He's an example of a stupendedly over-rated (jazz) singer.
Cullum wouldn't have got so much as a raised glance if it hadn't been for the fact that Jazz is basically dead and almost devoid of talent at the moment.
He's perfect for that generation of people who like soft, limped, washed-out jazz that's been popular for the last decade but can't handle proper jazz.
Yep, middleclass coffee table music with no passion or soul which is exactly the oposite of what good jazz is.
If you want good jazz you still have to go back to the greats like louis armstrong and miles davis.
