i wasnt talking about 99 muppet.
we can all agree Stam in that season was like a man possessed, a brick wall for attackers to run into. However, in the few months preceeding before Fergie sold him, Stam showed a serious lack of concentration, lack of pace & seemed to be carrying injuries. We've all gone into that 'why?' topic before so ill not go into that.
What i AM saying is that we have Rio whos considered to be one of the best young CB's in the world, and John O'Shea who has shown he has much potential to be up there with the best of them. In fact, i believe that O'Shea long-term will be a better 'defender' than Ferdinand.
