According to reports Manchester United are eyeing two young Paraguayans.

United are understood to be tracking the progress of Cerro Porteno full-back Ivan Piris and Newell's Old Boys midfielder Marcelo Alejandro Estigarribia.

The 22-year-old Piris is also believed to be interesting Argentine outfit, Boca Juniors.

Both players are Paraguay internationals and the 23-year-old Estigarribia has previous European experience at Le Mans.

Local media sources say United have been watching both players this year.

I'd believe it

Reminds me of when we signed Johnsen and Solskjaer

I'd be happy if he signs any sort of midfielder, aqnd as someone said earlier, you don't win 12 titles without knowing how to pick them

If they're not wingers, I'm not interested. I'm only interested in wingers now, and our fiendishly clever plan of fielding an entire team of them.

The one with three names is listed as a left winger and has a shite scoring record.

Midfielder? Cock out.

So we are watching a midfielder that played for Le Mans but didn't impress enough to warrant a stay in Europe?

You can never have enough wingers...Plus Bebe's gone now, so we need someone to fill the "useless but another winger" role

That's fantastic. And it's smiling. That's surely proof enough of it's positive effectiveness.

We only buy wingers to piss the dippers off coz they can't seem to buy any and they really need them.
