As per planetfootball. Quaresma's agent confirm that we have made an offer to libson for his client, and his client will be delited to join us(who wont).

We usually get transfer news straight after going of Europe so I wouldn't be surprised if it came off.
 
It would be good news but planet bollocks are not the most reliable at the best of times...

so an article that says "the premiership giants have yet to make a formal offer to Sporting" does not sound official to me.

I would like to see united buy him but I do feel that It would lead to the departure of either Beckham or Giggs... However 35 milion for Becks less 10-12 million on quaresma would leave a lot for strengethining the defence and getting a striker... but I'll believe it when the official offer goes in.
 
And it probably means Beckham really is on his way.
