If Fergie hadn't stayed on, all the players mentioned above would have moved on.
Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and accept that legends as well as mediocre players need to move on.
I hope Fergie is revitalised enough to realise just clinging onto the old school won't be enough.

agreed, i think we have similar problems to Liverpool,
theyre running out of money and are relying on hand me down over the hill rejects like Litmannen, Anelka and possibly Overmars,
at least we can buy our way out of next seasons relagation battle,

I'd agree with getting rid of Beckham, Keane and Solskjaer. Crap all of em.

If United had that line-up - Viera etc. I don't care how good they might be. I wouldn't cross the road to watch them. One or two perhaps - but that would be a United team with no United heart.
