Everytime we start losing a match the matchday forum is filled with the same people who seem to just be waiting for a reason to slag off the team, players and management. These people only come out when we are losing and never have anything positive to say about us, all they do is whinge. I can see why the likes of giggzy and Weaste, who used to make the matchday threads so good, have just stopped coming here. The mods really do need to do something about it because it just keeps getting worse and worse.

I'd rather watch the match than read their drivel to be frank, if we're still 3-0 down at full time I'll take a look at the WUMs with banning stick at the ready.
 
I know but I cant watch the match so I used to read the matchday threads to see what's going on in the match. Hell, even when I did watch the match I would still go back and read through it because it used to be really good. Sorry about the rant, they just pissed me off.
 
Name names DD, I'm fecked if I'm going to trawl through the thread now but there's ten free passes out of the forum waiting for suitably qualified candidates.
 
Albert Quixall is the first that comes to mind, but he has been doing this for ages, i'll have a look through and see that ones that really do stand out.
 
Nice one, here are the rest of them shyamg22, swooshboy, dar10nian, BigBadKev, lonbwoy, emomast, linfield. Not sure about their history, but the fact that I dont recognise any of them is not a very good sign is it.
 
3 down for persistent negativity, 3 stay because other than a few negative comments there they are largely irrelevant to the forum and 1 gets a new tagline for being a general twat.

Argue with those you don't agree with - but you can't stop people having their say. You can't ban or censor people for having an opinion as long as it's not racist, threatening etc.

Yes but your generally a cnut and don't understand what supporting and loving your club means. Voice and opinion ad disaprrove of there performance but slagging your team off is a no go in my eyes.

It used to be more worse when giggzy and Weaste were posting regularly. Sack Fergie and Sell Giggs brigade were in full flow and there used be atleast three slagging threads on Giggs, Fergie and Veron everytime we lost. sPaz and his little buddies used to start appreciation threads on individual players when ever their favorites did anything half decent. It has improved a lot now a days.

You are missing the point. I dont mind threads they create about how this player is crap or that player is not M U Q, because I can just ignore them. But when they start dragging it into other threads and when every other post in the matchday thread is 'Fletcher is shit' it starts to get annoying.

I have no problem with people having their own opinions about things Liv, I dont agree with a lot of what people say on here, but it doesnt mean that they are wrong, its all about opinions. But when instead of giving your views and explaining why you feel this way, all we get these days are Fletcher is shit, Carlos Q has ruined our team (even though no one knows what he actually does), Rio is a cnut, etc after every loss or even draw ('we shouldnt be dropping points against the like's of team X'). In the matchday forum what used to be threads about the match have turned into a place to whinge about every missplaced pass by people who are not even watching the match but listening on the radio. Hopefully this is a step in the right direction.
 
It is weird that football forums are always far more busy when something rubbish happens...

I suppose they act as some form of release for many..

I've never said in any post we should sack Fergie and I have always defended players who do well. I am here after every match, win or loss and I don't post much when we lose because I know I will say something I don't mean.

Yet i think, the slagging yesterday was totally justified, even if I didn't participate at it.

Arnt you the one who said Rooney and Ronaldo would be better off at other clubs because we are too shit for them at the moment?

I said that 2 weeks ago and I still believe it. Loving United doesn't stop me seing we are not offering them much. They came here only to win something and we are not looking like a winning team for different reasons. I'm not slagging off, I am accepting our situation and it's ok for me. I never stated Scholes should be benched or Giggs sacked.

And I believe slagging is part of football. It comes with every loss, and it's something normal. Cut this part and the forum will have triple the less posts. When slagging starts to annoy you, it's because the team is so shit, you can't have a go at slaggers. Be patient, and the joy will only be bigger when we will look like a winning team again.
