According to Spanish reports, Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has told the club's representatives to step up talks on bringing Real Madrid's Luis Figo to Old Trafford.
AS reports that a swap deal is being considered involving United's Ruud van Nistelrooy.

However, that may be wide of the mark as Ferguson is targeting Figo as an attacking partner to Van Nistelrooy and wants the Portuguese ace to play the role he had earmarked for West Ham's Paolo Di Canio.

Do any of you guys remember last close season? It was so crazy concerning all the transfer speculation.

It will be worse this year after our 'failure' to win a trophy AND all the players on view at the WC.

Expect threads following every game saying:-

'I just watched the Senegal V France game and IMO United should sign the Senegalese right back.....'
