Spurs agree Yorke fee

Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United have reportedly agreed a fee of Stg7million ($A19.5million) for the transfer of Dwight Yorke from Old Trafford to White Hart Lane.
Spursweb.com reports that Yorke will meet officials of the London club this week to negotiate the terms of the transfer that will hopefully afford Yorke more first team opportunities than are available to him at present.
He has been frozen out of the picture at United since the arrival of Ruud van Nistelrooy, and finds himself behind Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and new signing Diego Forlan in the pecking order.
It is understood that Hoddle turned his attention to Yorke after his Stg12million ($A33.3million) offer to Sunderland for Kevin Phillips was rejected.
If negotiations prove successful Yorke could become a Spurs player within a fortnight.
