time for a bit of controversy ;)

only gonna do it at home in the premier league?

i dont recall too many good away performances in the league and most of his best performances have come at home (he has had some good uns in the champions league however) and he has also had a few injuries???? when it has come to away games as well.
 
we aint got time if we want to win the league tho have we, two away wins from ten games is obviously not good enough so we need people to step it up away from home and veron is obviously one of them that needs too as well.
 
I think that we've missed Keane more than anything. When playing away from home you really do need a leader to get the rest of them all going IMO.

so your saying with players like giggs,beckham,scholes,veron,ole,phil and butt playing in midfield injuries permitting we are not good enough to beat the likes of west ham, sunderland etc.

well getting back to the subject at hand veron apart from the brummies has usually been very poor when playing with keano.
 
But Verón has much improved since Keano has been out, and Keano is still not at his best, so we've not really had a chance to see. Maybe they will fit perfectly together when Keano is 100%.
 
im prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt.
He's gone a long way this year to proving the doubters wrong. He's not fully there yet but he's certainly on the right track.

Our away form has been bad all season (only two wins and they came against poor oposition). The team hasn't performed and the team includes Seba. I think he'll perform as good as anybody if the team as a unit starts performing.
 
seba was already a key player who making diferrence to our team rightnow. Without him we will be cut short of some of the best passes in a game. I hope he can learn to use his left foot for faster pace in ball control and make more goal attempt in the future.

I name December 2002 as Saint Sebastian month. How pleasurable? How outside of right foot'able? How improved, snap at legs'able since the derby just adding that little bit of bandaged knee extra.

Against Boro as we know, we were Pooey Gonzalez but with 30 minutes to go boro were slow getting the ball back from a dead ball situation.

To be fair they weren't that slow as no one noticed, or moaned around me in the ground.

Whereas Juan, you know, the Juan who doesn't care and wants to be in Rome because he doesn't fit in here, or he goes down when it's cold or it's against us, well that Juan was on the half way line battering the fck out of the refs ear pointing this out.

Many players do it in the last five or even ten but with half an hour left it was hurting him to see wasted seconds.

It didn't work out for us at Boro, sometimes it doesn't, who ever said United were going to be good to you?

I was talking to a red in Mulligan's after the Birmingham game and he said something interesting.

At the start of the season he investigated at the bookies the price for Juan being Player of the Year.

Due to not being shy with the Martin McGuinness that night I have forgotten the odds he got but they were substantial as who would have bet on it?

I have also forgotten who it was who told me so you can forgive me for forgetting odds.

I'm having if you investigated it now you would still get a good price. Once the media find a new story ie - 'Fck me he's a genius, loved at home in Argentina, loved at Lazio, and now look at him' - they can write and live off his brilliance as if they have always recognized it.

Once that keeps getting on Match of the Day and Football Focus week after week and then to the back pages and the heavy weights and its supplements, it will become natural for him to become Player of the Year as a Roy 'slow recovery from injury' attitude and a Beckham backlash is not that wild a scenario.

You might get a better price on Ryan. But I never have that much beer. I'm sorry to say it but I'm getting beyond hoping I'm wrong.
