I love TG don't get me wrong I just get the feeling its getting a bit too formulaic and it seems like they are running out of ideas. I'd hate to see it go off air again so I'm hoping they will revamp the show somewhat but keep the hosts intact! Any Top Gear fans have a thought?

I know what you mean but I still enjoy it, whats more annoying is seeing Top Gear listed on Dave and when you look its always one of the same 3 or 4 episodes.

Yes, I'm well bored of it. Used to like it but the challenges seem a bit too contrived and it has just been too much of the same old stuff for me.

I actually feel this season, so far, has felt a lot fresher than the last few. The last 3 or 4 seasons felt really stale to me and most of the show seemed extremely contrived.

i **** if it wasnt looped on dave it wouldnt seem so formulaic

same format every week, contrived challenges but i still find it great fun mainly due to the presenters whose enthusiasm keep it fresh

I guess the "cheap car challenge" last week is an example of the cheesy challenges they've been doing. They need to do more than one exotic car each week, they use to do 2 or 3. And news isn't really car news any more, just the three of them babbling on.

aye

the bit where hammond is fixing the boat, he lifts it up and it hits the cealing fan  that had me in stitches!

That didn't amuse me because he clearly did it on purpose. As per the episode the other week where Jeremy rolled the car into the driveway as part of a challenge to make the least noise. He then somehow "accidentally" managed to let the car go and roll into something (can't remember what now:nervous:) making lots of noise.

i wish they hadn't unveiled the Stig

Eh?

Schumacher is not the stig. It was purely a pisstake because he brought his beast of a Ferrari in because Ferrari wouldn't let the stig drive it. They just used that opportunity to have a laugh.

That's why the Ferrari bet the previous top score by 7 seconds.
