Villa starting the season with 2 straight defeats - we will go 1 or 2 with a win today - depending on Stokes result against Spurs.

It's also worth noticing that Reading have impressed a lot in their group so far. Two 4-1 wins against WBA and Norwich so far. Strong start for them

It's on in 5 minutes, right? Does anyone have a stream?

Ah, not for another hour. Hopefully some of the usual streams will be up by then.

thanks....the passing on this team is a thrill to watch. They have a lot to learn about many things...but the passing is amazing for someone so young

Grimshaw been outstanding for us so far - by far our best player together with Pearson

Why do all United-players sleep at short corners. The first team is awful as well

Finished 2-0. Villa comfortable winners. Had maybe lesser players but were much, much better as a team, worked hard in defence and showed a lot more urgency in attack. United suffered from a common problem over the last few years, namely nice midfield play and keeping possession well, but sloppy at the back and lacking any sort of urgency or invention up front.

That's been a general problem at this level the last 2-3 seasons. But I actually Villa were much better individually as well -the 2 wingers were miles better than our best players today. Grealish was brilliant before the break and the other guy was good throughout - Graham I think he was called

Pearson is a real star in the making I think. Uses the ball really well, very 2 footed and good positioning, also an excellent range of passing and very accurate mostly.

I agree. His ambidexterity is really something else and a big advantage in the middle of the park.

Ben Pearson, or that lad from One Direction? twins.

Grealish is subject of hot debate. looks like he's tied to Ireland.
