retirantmobs,

Your account on RedCafe.net has been locked because someone has tried to log
into the account with the wrong password more than 5 times. You will be able to
attempt to log in again in another 15 minutes.

The person trying to log into your account had the following IP address:
80.42.175.84

-------------------------

I'v recieved this twice now in last two days, both times the same IP address. I know it isnt me as I wasnt online last night and also the fact I know my own password.

Ideas?

strange. I've done a search in the Redcafe database for that IP address and it hasnt returned any matches. Possibly it may be someone external to the Caf

Okay I'll just keep changing my password more. If anyone makes any posts that are rubbish it won't be me ;)

I think that IP is either in London(Near positive) or New York(Maybe)

But both could be wrong

fill us mortals in on who it was

It's classified....If you knew, I would have to kill you.

But, you have no need to worry about it ret.

So if you want someone's account suspended, you just have to try and log on with their username and the wrong password 5 times? That's useful to know.

The only suspect didn't need to bother.

Although deleting a few more digits from the ip widens the field somewhat.

anyone else notice he hasnt been on here in ages?

His feelings has been hurt by the callous disregard shown by some here over all things transfer related. He's currently bunked up with Warrington in the hope of mating with Warrington's mate who mates regularly with Carragher. Soul mates the two of them, I tells ya.

ret, that ip belongs to Telinco/Tiscali who I used to work for, can probably find out who it is if you REALLY want to know :)
otherwise i'm sure nate or someone can check what other accounts that ip has logged into to find which poster it is ;)

The exact IP has never posted on the Caf so we don't know who it is for sure but partial matches do give us one unlikely and one very strong suspect. If it happens again let us know and we'll deal with it.
