is Mc Claren a good manager for boro?

after a sticky start he seems to be doing the job at boro. he was rated very highly at united and sven the man thinks the world of him too.

after a mysterious flurry of telephone bets all placed within moments of each other yesterday William Hill have slashed Steve McClaren's odds from 20-1 to 4-1 to be the next United manager.
He is now 3rd favourite for the position behind Martin O'Neill and front-runner Sven Goran Erikkson.
Now, wouldn't that be a shocker

McClaren is a good manager. He pinpointed the problem of Boro's defence and get a very good buy of Southgate and Ehiogu. Three clean sheets in the latest three league matches is a result that even we will be dreaming for.

I think he is good for Boro. He saw their rotten defense and did something about it!

This doesn't mean that they will be world beaters, but not having to face the drop (or the possibility of) will make for a great season for them!

So yeah he's good for Boro.

Next United manager? Isn't that why he left they told him no way?

Don't think he can claim credit for that buy, either captain Morgan or El Tel brought him in.

A very good manager for Boro. He should still be at United and irrespective where he goes he will be one of the best. Foreward thinking, astute and a very good coach. Probally will be the England manager somewhere down the line. I cannot say enough good about the man.
